Dynamics is a course of a theoretical-practical nature. Its purpose is to develop the skills of prediction, calculation and analysis of moving systems, using concepts from basic sciences and mechanics. Its results contribute to the development of skills to identify, formulate and solve problems of dynamics of moving bodies, applying principles of engineering, science and mathematics.

It includes the following thematic axes: kinematics of particles in rectangular, tangential-normal, radial-transverse, cylindrical and spherical coordinates; particle kinetics (Newton's Laws, work and energy, momentum, linear and angular momentum); rigid body kinematics and kinetics; mechanical vibrations.
