Description
Statics is a course of a theoretical-practical nature. Its purpose is for the student to understand and apply the main concepts, fundamentals and principles of statics. Its results contribute to the development of skills to identify, formulate and solve complex engineering problems applying principles of engineering, science and mathematics.Throughout the course, the following thematic axes are developed: decomposition of forces, equilibrium of the particle, equilibrium of the rigid body, internal forces, centers of gravity and moments of inertia, analysis of shear force and bending moment diagrams, and lines of influence.
