Description

Hydraulics is a theoretical-practical course. Its purpose is for the student to solve hydraulic problems and achieve their applicability in infrastructure projects. Its results contribute to the development of skills to identify, formulate and solve fluid problems applying principles of engineering, science and mathematics.

Throughout the course, the following thematic axes are developed: flow and design in open channels, principle of energy and momentum, critical flow, gradually varied flow, rapidly varied flow, design of hydraulic structures and irrigation and drainage systems.
