Environmental Engineering is a course of a theoretical-practical nature. Its purpose is to facilitate knowledge of concepts related to sustainable construction, based on the application of sustainable development approaches applied to construction activities and infrastructure projects in general, in their various stages. Its results contribute to the development of ethical and professional responsibility skills in engineering situations and the making of informed judgments, in the application of sustainable construction approaches.Throughout the course, the following thematic axes are developed: environmental legislation, sustainable development and relative global concepts (key role of the Civil Engineer), global, national and local environmental problems, sustainable construction, environmental impact studies, impact assessment environment and environmental management plans.
