Description
Transportation Engineering I is a theoretical-practical course. Its purpose is to provide the tools for the design of a road, according to current Peruvian regulations. Its results contribute to the development of skills to apply engineering designs to produce solutions that meet specific needs considering public health, safety and welfare, as well as global, cultural, social, environmental and economic factors.Throughout the course, the following thematic axes are developed: description, road classification, vehicle measurement standards, environmental, topographical, geological, hydrological and hydraulic considerations, earthworks and geometric layout and design.
