Description
Fluid Mechanics is a theoretical-practical course. Its purpose is for the student to solve fluid mechanics problems and achieve their applicability in infrastructure projects. Its results contribute to the development of skills to identify, formulate and solve fluid problems applying principles of engineering, science and mathematics.Throughout the course, the following thematic axes are developed: properties of fluids, statics, kinematics, dynamics, dimensional analysis and hydraulic similarity, boundary layer, drag and lift forces, flow in pipes and complex piping systems.
