Organization profile

The Circle of Audio Studies fulfills and develops the following objectives and activities:

  • Emphasize the importance of sound in audiovisual content.
  • Evaluate the different applications of sound in film, television, advertising, etc.
  • Develop activities such as scene dubbing, music recording and mixing, foley recording, and audio analysis in different audiovisual products.
  • Put an interest in theoretical knowledge, organizing master classes for its members with experts in the field, nurturing them with concepts, information and a good basis for their academic and professional training.

With all these activities, they seek to instill teamwork, responsibility, discipline and in cooperation with other circles.

Mission

Create an environment within the circle that encourages communicators and people outside the faculty more to be interested in sound in audiovisuals and to understand its importance. Give tools to the students of the Faculty of Communications to be able to better work on their future audiovisual projects from the sound field.

View

To ensure that university students see in the Audio Circle the institutionality due within the university, as well as a place where they can learn to train as sound technicians in the audiovisual field.
