The purpose of the cinema circle is to promote film production and the analysis of feature films and short films of various kinds, to contribute to the film debate in Peru.
They currently have the objective of making three fiction short films. For this, each member of the circle has the opportunity to elaborate a proposal to film; members will then vote to choose the three winning ideas.
The members of the circle finish each cycle with new knowledge in editing, sound, direction of actors, art direction, production, camera management and lighting. Regardless of the cycle the student is in, he expands his knowledge of the audiovisual world.
They also have extracurricular activities such as attending film festivals in Lima and film screenings outside the University.
