The Linux User Studies Circle (ULIX) develops activities to promote the use of free software applications, such as the Linux operating system and software products under the GNU license. Likewise, it promotes the use of free hardware platforms such as Arduino and Raspberry Pi for applications related to automatic control, internet of things and robotics. Research, project development and events aimed at promoting technologies based on free software and hardware are also promoted.
Mission
Promote the use of free software and hardware tools among members of the University of Lima community, as well as promote research and the implementation of projects using these technologies.
Vision
Be leaders among the academic community in the use of tools based on free software and hardware to propose feasible and efficient solutions to the problems of the country's society and industry.
Currently, the circle meetings are held on Wednesdays from 7 pm to 8 pm
