CEBI - Business Intelligence Study Circle

The objectives of the Business Intelligence Study Circle (CEBI) are the following:

1. Encourage students to study and research concepts related to BI.

2. Implement and evaluate both commercial and free BI tools.

3. Develop benchmarks between the BI tools evaluated to analyze the differences between them, as well as their advantages and disadvantages.

4. Carry out consulting, development and implementation of BI solutions for SMEs.

5. Develop case studies related to the implementation and implementation of BI tools.

6. Create a repository of BI solutions, methodologies and tools adapted to different business contexts.

7. Document research and business-related activities in order to produce and publish research articles.

8. Use and take advantage of the agreements that the University currently has with international BI software providers.

9. Generate agreements with other BI tool providers with which you do not have agreements yet.

10. Promote the implementation of comprehensive projects, which include the other study circles of the Systems Engineering Career (CEIDS and Ulix), the IT Lab and the infrastructure area

Currently, the circle meetings are held on Thursdays from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm
