The purpose of CEDES is to promote research through an innovative approach, as well as to develop proposals and generate debate to encourage the participation of the university community, awareness and critical awareness based on useful and relevant information on development issues. with accessible language.
CEDES seeks to become a reference group among academic and non-academic circles that causes an impact on public opinion, to contribute to the generation of awareness of development and social inclusion.
It has 3 lines: Research, Events and Communications, and Projects. Through these, it seeks to create a space for students to complement their training in classes and develop certain skills (research, search for information, debate, etc.), encouraging the exchange of ideas and student-student support.
Objectives
- Generate, promote and encourage research among students.
- To form spaces for discussion on current economic and social issues.
