Organization profile

The Pavement Laboratory is part of the complex of laboratories of the Civil Engineering Career. The activities developed are mainly focused on meeting the needs of teaching and research in the area of road infrastructure. Equally important is the specialized technical support provided to the industry.

Testing
The Laboratory specializes in the testing and mechanical characterization of the materials that make up the structure of a pavement (base, subbase, subgrade and wearing course).

Infrastructure
The Laboratory has two properly implemented environments: one with controlled temperature for the execution of special tests and the other for the preparation and compaction of test samples.
