Organization profile

The Laboratory of Topography and Geomatics aims to provide specialized technical support according to the inherent needs of society, engineering, industry, public or private institutions, academia, and in particular the students and teachers of the Civil Engineering Career of the University of Lima.

The Laboratory seeks to provide the university community with an environment conducive to the development of academic work, teaching projects and scientific research in topography and geomatics. It also seeks to provide specialized technical support to the industry.

Topographic stakeout in civil works
Earthworks control
High precision leveling
Elaboration of topographic plans

Geodesy
Georeferencing of geodetic points
Transformation of UTM coordinates to topographic coordinates

Photogrammetry
Photogrammetry with drones for cadastral surveys
Photogrammetry with drones for BIM modeling
Drone photogrammetry for civil works control
Photogrammetric techniques (SFM) for modeling of buildings

Cartography - Geographic Information Systems
Elaboration of hazard, vulnerability and risk maps
Location intelligence analysis

Remote sensing
Use of satellite imagery for precision agriculture
