Created in 2013, the laboratory fulfills the objective of being a model of business and production management of a textile clothing company, applying good manufacturing practices and quality tools such as 5S, lean manufacturing and kaizen.
It is an academic-industrial scenario for the exploration of strategies applying active learning teaching methodology, where the student relates to the industrial world through the development of business and production management of a textile apparel company, so that both he and the teacher can explore the specific strategies at play in the industry, as well as the approaches of fashion companies in areas as varied as product design, collection development, supply chain management, occupational health and safety, ergonomics, total maintenance, logistics management and production management.
