    Professor and researcher at the University of Lima. He holds a Ph.D. in Communication by the University Pompeu Fabra – Barcelona. His thesis explores media education in initial teacher training in Peru. Chief editor of the journal Contratexto. He is the co-editor of the books Media Education in Latin America (London: Routledge, 2019) and Mayeutica, 28 preguntas para hackear la escuela (Lima: Fundación Telefónica, 2019). His articles have been published in journals such as Culture & Education, New Approaches in Educational Research, The Journal of Media Literacy, and the International Journal of Educational Technology in Higher Education.
