Professor Ruiz-Ruiz's research interests encompass future studies, structural analysis, and the foresight of engineering and education, with a particular emphasis on gender-focused approaches within STEM education. Dr. Ruiz-Ruiz also holds a Postgraduate Certificate (Expert Diploma) in Future Studies from UNED (Spain).  He is a Renacyt researcher accredited by the National Council of Science and Technology of Peru (Concytec). Additionally, he is a member of several professional organizations, including the Ibero-American Chapter of the World Futures Studies Federation (WFSF), the Peruvian Society for Educational Research (SIEP), the College of Teachers of Peru (CPP) and the College of Engineers of Peru (CIP).
