In Latin America, I am recognized as an expert in the fields of mathematics (biomathematics, Functional Analysis and Delay Differential Equations) and I am trainer of young researchers for these areas. I have students and collaborators in many countries. My research topics deals with the mathematical models in Epidemiology and Ecology.
