From the research carried out in 2018 with secondary school mathematics teachers, deficiencies were identified in the specialized knowledge of the teaching and learning of the parable; Likewise, it was identified that the inconveniences are referred to their training, in universities or higher institutes, when addressing mathematical and didactic notions and concepts. For this reason, this work aims to study the notions and conceptions about teaching and learning of mathematics that are in force and on which the future secondary school teachers of this specialty are based. At the end of the study, the researchers will be able to propose proposals to improve the quality of teacher training and contribute to the development of their professional skills.
