This project addresses the relationship between education, development and ICT, which presents educational challenges and opportunities that require clear ideas about the nature of digital media, pedagogies and appropriate applications. In this context, the objective of the study is the definition of both a methodology and the implementation of an educational application for secondary school, considering the demands and limitations of our environment. Two possibilities will be analyzed: one for arithmetic, using the Turing machine, and another for graphics, in two and three dimensions, through generative grammars. Both solutions allow to foster creative computational thinking in visual and interactive mode, without the difficulties of traditional programming languages.
