Description

The leading cause of death in the world are cardiovascular diseases; in Peru it represents 15.5% of national mortality, however the trend is increasing. The project proposes to develop a portable system, hardware and software, for monitoring electrocardiographic signals (EGG), for the timely detection of arrhythmias and the early detection of acute coronary events. It contemplates the sending of alerts, in real time, to family members or to the attending physician through mobile communication, by registering the alert message and the electrocardiographic signal on a web server and database, for clinical evaluation and investigation
