Project Details
Description
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the 2030 Agenda pose significant challenges for the private sector, which has great potential to contribute to this global goal, mainly in relation to the generation of employment and the promotion of economic growth. However, to date, in Peru we do not have a periodic monitoring mechanism that allows us to determine this contribution. In this sense, this research proposes the development of a sustainability index to measure the contribution to the SDGs of a representative sample of companies in the Peruvian stock market, considering their importance in terms of the volume of their operations and their potential impacts on its different stakeholders.
