Feminicide: determinants and risk assessment

Project: Research

Project Details

The objective of this proposal is to study feminicides from three lines: (1) Estimate the individual, ecological and contextual determinants of feminicide and feminicide attempts, using Heiser's ecological model of violence; (2) estimate the economic and social (cost) effects of feminicide by calculating the Potentially Lost Years of Life and evaluating the impact of attempts at feminicide on women. (3) Validate at pilot level a risk assessment instrument of being a victim of feminicide.
