Proposal for the design of sanitary facilities in buildings using the BIM methodology and virtual and augmented realities

Project: Research

Project Details

Description

The proposal contemplates the design of a methodology to model buildings, combining the BIM methodology (building information modeling) with virtual and augmented realities, to facilitate the design of sanitary facilities and reduce costs and errors in construction. This methodology will be used, since it allows the project to be fully managed through three-dimensional modeling, which facilitates access to information and early detection of failures. On the other hand, augmented reality allows the user to virtually enter the model and analyze every detail from the inside
