Abstract

The research aims to identify the international behavior of software companies in Peru and systematize lessons learned from case studies of internationalization of the software industry, with reference to two models of internationalization and Born Global Uppsala. The Uppsala model explains the behavior of enterprise inter-nationalization as a gradual and phased process aimed at the nearest markets. While the Born Global model are companies in the first three years of establishment are directed to distant markets and make a rapid international skipping stages. It is concluded that the most striking differences between the two models are: prior international experience of the founders, international business vision and guidance to international markets in a different language.
