Abstract
This work is a case study focused on the simulation and improvement of a Peruvian mass consumption company, so it is centered on the search for engineering tools focused on analyzing inventory and demand management; and this achieve an improvement in the coordination of warehouse procedures. Therefore, the purpose of this research is to propose new forecasting techniques and implement a new inventory management policy, by means of a check through Arena simulation software. As a result, we obtain a profit increase 57.69% higher in comparison between continuous and periodic review inventory resupply policies.
