Abstract
Identifying temporal and logical synchronization constraints during a multimedia and hypermedia authoring process is a relevant issue. Based on a general purpose model, this paper investigates an equivalence framework to model the temporal relationships between the MHEG-5 applications and E-LOTOS specifications of these behavior patterns. This work is part of a design methodology, where the E-LOTOS/MHEG-5 libraries will enable the conception of a mapping procedure between these representations.
