Abstract
This article examines a representative group of texts published during the second half of the XX century in Peru in which the diverse social, cultural, urban, and political transformations of the city of Lima are fictionally processed. The analysis allows to recognize the diverse configurations of public urban space in these texts, as well as the strategies and modes adopted by the authors of the so called “Generación del 50” during a time in which the city will dramatically expand its limits.
