Abstract

Magda Portal y Blanca Varela son dos grandes poetas latinoamericanas del siglo XX que emplean personajes metafóricos y metonímicos para cuestionar la dominación masculina y revalorar el discurso femenino. Asimismo, utilizan determinados campos figurativos para construir una obra poética singular en el contexto de la poesía peruana contemporánea.
Magda Portal and Blanca Varela are two great Latin American poets of the twentieth century who use metaphorical and metonymic characters to question male domination and revalue female discourse. They also use certain figurative fields to build a unique poetic work in the context of contemporary Peruvian poetry.
