The ability to recreate reality with a simulation model and ana- lyze the results generated by that model has been refined to a point that it can almost be called art. The term technology itself originates from the Greek tecnos (art) and logos (studies); therefore, it is not difficult to understand that any effort related to the portrayal of reality is, in essence, an artistic effort. This article explores the validation steps in a complex simulation model applied to the natural gas oil market in Lima (Peru).
