Resultado de la investigación: Informe/libroLibrorevisión exhaustiva

The purpose of this dissertation is to analyze a series of texts of four authors of the Río de la Plata: Leopoldo Lugones (1874-1938) , Horacio Quiroga (1878-1937) , Silvina Ocampo (1903-1993) and Felisberto Hernández (1902-1964 ), in order to examine some common elements that appear in their works, such as the uncanny and weird character of these stories; the crisis of the ego, to the extent that many of the stories of my corpus show a split of subjectivity, often confused with the idea of the double (doppelgänger), but refers to an equally complex problem, although essentially different: the split of the personality; posed the analogy between these accounts represented the logic of the world and the logic of tropes, as observed in the presence of these tropes not only at the level of discourse, but also --and especially-- in the story and the use of certain resources as the stylization of the grotesque and the spectacle and the ritualization of the actions. These elements are manifested in the work of each author through several motifs and, together, build a canon and show how this strange stories form a solid narrative tradition established a network of relationships and communicating vessels even when the authors present in this research profess conceptions of writing that can become radically different and, in fact, belong to different times. Thus we analyze modulations borders and the fantastic, but also, and above all the singularities of the strange and sinister (the Freudian concept of uncanny, as already mentioned above), and also show the difficulty of classifying these accounts under the stable parameters of a particular discourse genre.
